Vincent Laforet is going to Beijing to shoot the Olympics for Newsweek, something that sounds like a dream to me. Vincent has a blog about this huge assignment and after seeing his latest article about packing down his gear I know for sure that I’m not ready, but someday I will be, that’s a promise.
Keep track of Vincent adventure on his blog and see his “gear gallery” here.

If I could vote in the elections in November I would definitely vote for Obama, not just because I think he’s the man USA needs right now but also because he leans towards Canon, or at least I would like to think so.

Like we all know, all smart people shoots with Canon.

Over the weekend I went with my friends to Landmannalaugar. It was great trip and it was about time to revised Landmannalaugar, I haven’t been there in about 15 years or so. I could easily go “the Flickr route” and post some over Photoshopped picture from this wonderful place, I just don’t feel like it.

Phillip Toledano is one of the heavyweight photographers today. I got very lucky earlier this year when I visited his studio and looked at some of his amazing work, for example Phone sex series long before most people saw it.
His latest project is different but extremely compelling. Please check out Phillip’s latest series, Days with my Father, it’s to good to let it slide.

Only 2 weeks until I will get on a plane and fly to Beijing to witness the Olympics, can’t wait to be honest.

The people working at The Sun are world class “cocks” like they say in England. In a recent picture (see below) they remove a guy from the photo which raises a lot of questions it self, but they did it without taking his feets as well. It looks like they have stopped trying to hide how shitty paper The Sun really is.

Yesterday my good friend Kyle posted a link to amazing slideshow by Paul Fusco, have to bring your attention to it.
In 1968 Paul was asked to ride along the train that brought JFK’s coffin from New York to Washington. What he manage to do with his camera during this trip is totally mind blowing. Just click the picture and listen to him guide you through it.
